Spiral Wound Gaskets with Inner Ring consist of a spiral wound sealing component with a solid metal inner ring. Inner rings are provided for all spiral-wound gaskets with PTFE filler material. They are also included for flexible graphite-filled gaskets unless otherwise specified by the purchaser. Inner rings are necessary for gaskets in specific sizes and classes to prevent outer ring damage due to high bolt loads. Suitable for male and female pipe flanges.
