Spiral wound gaskets (SWG) offered by Ningbo Rilson Sealing Material Co., Ltd. are highly versatile and popular due to their wide range of styles and sizes. These gaskets can be fabricated from various metals, making them suitable for use with a wide range of corrosive mediums. They are suitable for temperatures ranging from cryogenic to approximately 2000ºF (1093ºC) and can be used in pressures from vacuum to the standard 2500 pressure class flange ratings.

Our spiral wound gaskets can be manufactured with variable densities, from relatively low density for vacuum service to extremely high density gaskets with a seating stress of approximately 30,000 psi (207 MPa). Softer gaskets require a seating stress in the range of 5,000 psi (34 MPa).

Inner rings are provided for all gaskets with PTFE filler material and flexible graphite-filled gaskets unless specified otherwise by the purchaser. Inner rings are necessary for NPS 24 and larger in Class 900, NPS 12 and larger in Class 1500, and NPS 4 and larger in Class 2500 to prevent outer ring damage due to high bolt loads. Suitable for male and female pipe flanges.
